These awnings can be manufactured in widths up to 16’ and with projections up to 36”. The valance on the awning can be made straight or wave in style. Motorization & Controls
Retractable awning systems combine beauty with functionality. At the convenient touch of a button on a wall mounted switch or on a hand held remote control, one is able to shade and cool any deck, patio, window, terrace or balcony automatically. One single device can control an individual and / or a group of motorized systems from a central location. Control of your motorized awnings can also be achieved from any mobile device using Somfy’s MyLink wireless receiver and specialized app.
Sun and wind sensors allow your motorized systems to automatically react to changing weather conditions. The Sun Sensor reacts to different sun levels, extending your awning automatically to cool both outdoor and indoor spaces. The Wind Sensor automatically retracts your motorized awning when it senses high winds.
FAQs
What type of frame do you use for your stationary awnings?
Anodized aluminum is used on all our stationary awning frames. The frame is constructed to be fixed and not retractable. In doing so, the fabric remains taut and allows the awning to handle our winter climate.
How do I clean my awning?
Using a garden hose, spray the top of the fabric to remove dust and pollen. If required, mild detergents such as Dawn or Sunlight can be used to treat more stubborn spots. Rinse off all soap residue and let the fabric air dry.
My awnings are over 12 years old. Can I have new fabric installed?
Yes, new fabric can be installed on the existing frame. We provide you with our wide selection of fabric options and the frame is temporarily removed to be re-covered.
Can I have graphics put on my awning?
Yes, graphics can be applied to acrylic fabric. We use a state of the art 3M graphics machine which permanently bonds graphics to the fabric, unlike screened or stenciled on graphics.

Installation Process
Detailed Measuring
A site visit is performed by our lead sales technician. Following a conversation with the client, detailed measurements are taken as all our products are custom manufactured to our clients specifications. A quotation is provided, with frame and fabric samples available for review and selection right on site.
Area Preparation & Installation
Upon arrival, our technicians will discuss the installation process with you, ensuring you are comfortable with every step. The technicians will safely move any furniture from the main working area and will replace the furniture to it’s original location once installation is complete. The installation will last approximately 2-4 hours.

A thorough explanation of the awning system will follow, with an opportunity for any questions to be answered. Rest assured that a detailed information sheet, including contact information, will be left with you for future reference and ongoing customer support.
